Government of India Fellowship @ International Institute for Population Sciences
International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, invites applications for
Government of India fellowship for admission into the MPS programme for the academic
session 2015-2016.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility
Master s degree in any of the following disciplines:
Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Geography, and
Anthropology, with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks in all subjects (all semesters/parts
included). Candidates awaiting results of qualifying examination latest by 30th September 2015
can also apply for consideration. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 30.6.2015. Marks and age
are relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per GOI rules.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Duration: One year (Full-time)
Fellowship details: Each selected Indian student will be awarded a Government of India
fellowship of Rs. 5,000 per month.

or by sending a self addressed Rs.50 stamped envelope (25cm x 12cm) . The form may also be
downloaded from official website.
PAY PACKAGE
Selection Criteria: The selection will be made on the basis of a written test and personal
interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and interview.
